Participate in three adventure dives and complete the appropriate knowledge review. No written test! The experience is what counts to help you gain knowledge, skill and confidence. You can complete one dive at a time or all three in one trip.
What Is An Adventure Dive?
Adventure dives are numerous but the ones most often requested at The Dive Spot include the following (in no certain order): altitude diver, underwater navigator, search and recovery, wreck diver, peak performance buoyancy, digital photographer, underwater naturalist, reef fish identification, drift diver.
Adventure Dives can also count toward Specialty Diver certifications. For example, if you enjoyed your altitude adventure dive a lot, then you can complete the Altitude Diver Specialty by completed the additional altitude specialty dive.
Adventure Diver is the prerequisite for these specialty courses: deep diver, wreck diver.
Prerequisites: 1) A PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization). 2) 15 years old (10 years old for PADI Junior Adventure Diver).
